ANNIE JOSEPHINE RIORDON

RIORDON, ANNIE JOSEPHINE - A. Josephine Riordon of Lower Woodstock, NB passed away December 7, 2005 at Carleton Memorial Hospital, Woodstock. Born at Lower Woodstock in 1918, she was a daughter of the late Corydon and Annie G. (Bull) Bull. Josephine enjoyed knitting, gardening, bird watching, doing word search puzzles and traveling. She also loved to go out to eat with her family and enjoyed listening to traditional country music. Josephine loved all children, especially her grandchildren. Josephine is survived by a daughter, Shirley Murray (Tom), Lower Woodstock; two grandchildren, Leanne Murray, Fredericton and Brian Murray, Ottawa, ON; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Riordon, Lower Woodstock; several nieces and nephews and her constant companion, her cat Patches. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jeremiah (Jerry) G. Riordon on March 1, 2004, an infant daughter, Juanita Katherine and one brother, Ralph Bull. Resting at her late home, 4 Hodgdon Road, Lower Woodstock, NB with visiting hours on both Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, Woodstock on Monday, December 12, 2005 at 11 a.m. Father Bill Brennan officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Josephine, the family has suggested the Calvary Cemetery or Debec Animal Shelter.
