CLIFFORD, FRANK HENRY - The death of Frank Henry Clifford, loving husband of Sylvia (Haines) Clifford, of Rothesay occurred unexpectedly on Wednesday December 7, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1940 in Port Arthur, Ontario he was the only child of the late Arthur and Gertrude (Elson) Clifford. Frank was a volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society, coached T Ball in his early years, and enjoyed going to Hockey Games and fishing. Besides his loving wife Sylvia, he is survived by his son Dr. David Clifford (Cindy) of Saint John; daughter Deborah Mesa (Shawn) of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren Simon and Abigail Clifford; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Friday December 9, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from St. Mary & St. Bartholomew Church on Saturday December 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to St. Mary & St. Bartholomew Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
