WHITE, ROBERT LESLIE - It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Leslie White announces his death on December 8, 2005, at the age of 64, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born in Saint John, NB and was the son of William and Ruby (Fitzgerald) White. He moved to Alberta in 1969 where he worked for HFC and retired from the Credit Union. Upon his death, he was a resident of Summerland, British Columbia. He is survived and sadly missed by his only daughter, Leslie (Greg) Dowhaniuk, of Spruce Grove, Alberta; two grandsons; and his special companion, Mary Jane Simpson of Summerland, BC. He is also survived by four brothers, Bill (Marion) White of Kemptville, On., Rick (Pam) White of Saint John, NB., David (Ruth) White of Truro, NS., Jamie (Peggy) White of Sherrill, NY.; two sisters, Carol (Vern) Whitney of Rothesay, NB, Janice (Rob) Clements, of Baxter's Corner, NB; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
