ALLAN CHARLES JOBSON

JOBSON, ALLAN CHARLES - at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B. December 10, 2005. Allan Charles Jobson born in St. Stephen, N.B. 1923, son of the late Charles and Alice (Day) Jobson from England. Allan was married to the late Marjorie Bartlett of Old Ridge, N.B. who predeceased him in 1970. Allan joined the army in World War II served with the 1st Canadian Field Squadron, R.C.E. 5th Canadian Armoured Division in Italy and Europe. Awarded various medals also the Dutch Medal from Holland. After his discharge he worked at various jobs and retired in 1980 due to health reasons. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, served with the St. Stephen Fire Dept. for 23 years of which he was a honorary member and was given the Governor Generals Exemplary Award, with Medal. He is survived by Two Daughters, Sylvia Lowery (Robert) of Dufferin, Charlotte County, N.B., Theresa Porter (David) Calais, Maine; one son Eugene Jobson (Lillian) Calgary, AB. Eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at The S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home LTD. 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. (506-466-1844) from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 14,2005 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be in the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home on Tuesday December 12, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers remembrances to the Charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
