MacNAMARA, DOROTHY JEAN - The death of Dorothy J. MacNamara, 81, of Saint John, formerly of Hampton, widow of Donald MacNamara occurred unexpectedly December 14, 2005 at Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Saint John, daughter of the late Frank and Gladys (Wanamaker) Damon. She loved to cook and spend her summers at Long Reach. She was very family oriented and enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters Nancy Hanson, Saint John, Diane MacLeod, Saint John; one sister Florence Marshall (Lionel), ON; three brothers Hazen Damon (Doreen), Hampton, Kenneth Damon (Frances), Saint John, Douglas Damon, Saint John; five grandchildren Bradley, Andrew, Lesley, Jeffrey and Trevor; four great grandchildren Riley, Jenna, Connor and William; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers Walter, Robert and Ronald Damon. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Friday, 10:00 am at Reid's Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Lyons officiating. Following cremation, interment will be in Hampton Rural Cemetery. Memorials to N.B.
