TOMPKINS, SHIRLEY - The death of Shirley Tompkins of the Victoria Glen Manor and formerly of Plaster Rock occurred on December 26, 2005 at the Victoria Glen Manor at the age of 82. Born in Sisson Ridge, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Clara Edgar. She is survived by one son Keith (Annette) Tompkins of Summerside, P.E.I.; two granddaughters Sara and Megan; two sisters Phyllis Bell and Jean Davenport and one brother Clayton Edgar. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence Tompkins and parents. Resting at White's Chapel with visiting hours on Wednesday, December 28th from 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 29th at 11 AM from White's Chapel with Rev. Leonard Cousins officiating. Interment in the Linton Corner Cemetery in the spring.
