JOHNSTON, HAZEL ROSE - The death of Rose Johnston, loving wife for over 50 years to Kenneth D. Johnston, occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 after a long period of declining health. Born in Saint John in 1927, she was the daughter of the late William and Jean Oliver. In addition to her beloved husband Kenneth, Rose is also survived by daughters, Leanne (Jim) Kelley, Rothesay, NB., Judy (Bob) Beaton, Sherwood Park, Ab., Loving grandmother to Ryan and Michael Kelley, and to Brad, Mark and Jill Beaton. Siblings Murray (Frances) Oliver, Musquash, NB., Lois (John) McHarg, and Norman (Sandra) Oliver, both of West Saint John. Rose was predeceased by her sister Doris Hawkes and Brothers George and Glendon Oliver. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, (634-1701) with visitation Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 31, 2005 in Fallsview Chapel at 1 o'clock. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Garden followed by a reception in the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations in Rose's memory made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
