BEAR, PATRICK - Of Tobique First Nation passed away unexpectedly at St. Joseph Hotel Dieu Hospital on January 4, 2006. Born at Tobique First Nation on March 17, 1924, he was the son of the late Solomon and Clara Bear and husband of the late Yvonne Bear (Saulis). He leaves behind his children, Paula (Danny) Pirie, Solomon Bear and Paul Bear all of Tobique First Nation, Gwenn Bear of Fredericton, Stephen (Christine) Bear of Sandy Lake, ON, Vance (Mary) Bear of Waskaginish, Quebec; his sisters Madelaine Bear of Tobique First Nation, Edwina Mitchell of Old Town, Maine. Patrick was a veteran of WWII. Resting at his residence, 20 First St., Tobique First Nation, NB from Thursday at 2 pm until the time of the funeral. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 2 pm from St. Ann's Catholic Church. Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
