ANDERSON, GEORGE BEVERLY - The death of George Beverly Anderson husband of Florence Margaret (Hutchison) Anderson of Miramichi, NB occurred at his late residence on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at the age of 85. Born in Hampstead, NB, George was the son of the late Albert and Sarah (Thomson) Anderson. George was a Overseas Veteran of WWII, member of the Northumberland Lodge #17 F and AM, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10, Newcastle and retired as a Shift Engineer for CFB Chatham and attended the Newcastle United Baptist Church. Besides his wife Margaret, he is survived by two daughters Beverley Byrne (Harold) of Halifax, NS and Brenda Anderson of Miramichi, NB: one son Wayne (Patricia) of Kingston, ON: one brother Vernon of Saint John, NB: eight grandchildren: Philip, Alanna, Allan, Sara, Joy, Katherine, Caroline, Erik and Todd and nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one daughter Willa May: one granddaughter Karen, two grandsons Keith and Kevin and two brothers Albridge and Valentine. Visitation is being held at Bell's Funeral Home on Friday from 7-9 and Saturday 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral service is from the Newcastle United Baptist Church on Sunday, January 8, 2006 at 2 pm with Pastor Terry Branscombe officiating. Burial will take place in the River Bank Cemetery, Norton, NB later in the spring.
