LAFRANCE, BERTRAND - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, January 5, 2006, Mr. Bertrand Lafrance, 71, of Grand Falls, husband of Ghislaine (Santerre) Lafrance, passed away. Born at Drummond in 1934, he was a son of the late Jean and Elise (Caron) Lafrance. Mr. Lafrance was a sales consultant with more than forty years of dedicated service to the clients of Toner Pontiac Buick GMC Ltd., formerly Toner's Garage Ltd. Besides his wife, he is survived by five children, Parise Cote (Daniel) and Jean (Ginette Bourgoin) of Grand Falls, Yvaine Lafrance (Thomas Daneluk) of Drummond, Paul (Parise) and Lisette Ayotte (Paul) of Grand Falls, nine grandchildren, two great granddaughters, two brothers, Fernand (Angela) of Ortonville and Romeo (Laurette) of Grand Falls, two sisters, Fernande Vaillancourt (late Gerard) of Van Buren, Maine and Yvonne Lapointe (Andre) of Dalhousie, sisters-in-law, Esther Lafrance (late Onil), Marthe Lafrance (late Lucien) and Antoinette Lafrance (late Roland), as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Onil, Lucien, Roland, Normand, Edwina and Mona. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls, with visiting Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 p.m. His funeral will be held Monday, January 9th at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Georges Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Saint-Georges Cemetery.
