CATHERINE GREEN
GREEN, CATHERINE - On Monday, January 9, 2006, Catherine Green, loving wife of the late Burns R. Green, passed away after a lengthy illness at St. Joseph's Hospital in Saint John. Born in Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Mills) Amos. She was a Veteran of World War II serving in the Royal Air Force. Catherine was a part time employee of Manchester Robertson Allison (MRA's) for many years. She worked for the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires at the Saint John Harbour Bridge Authority for 12 years. Catherine is survived by five sons; Michael of Saint John, Gerald (Diane) of Saint John, Stephen (Mangela) of Saint John, Jeffrey (Kimberly) of Rothesay, John (Gwendolyn) of New Maryland as well as 15 grandchildren and one great grand child. In addition to her husband and parents, Catherine was predeceased by her brother, James Amos. Arrangement entrusted to Castle Funeral Home Fallsview Chapel, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) with visitation on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Castle Funeral Home Fallsview Chapel, on Thursday, January 12th, 2006 at 2 p.m. Interment in Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery Field of Honour, followed by a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations in memory of Catherine can be made to the NB Lung Association or the charity of the donor's choice.
