WILMOT (BILL) F. ELLIS
ELLIS, WILMOT (BILL) F. - Wilmot (Bill) F. Ellis, 84, of The Veteran's Health Center and formerly of People's Park Tower, Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, January 16, 2006. Born in Windsor, NB, Bill was the son of the late Freeman and Dora (Shaw) Ellis. Bill was a former employee of NB Tel (20 years service) and former co-owner of Timberland Motel, Sussex. He was a member of Mount Royal United Church, Moncton Legion #6, and a veteran of the Second World War, served with the Royal Canadian Artillery. Bill will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, of 40 years, Helen (Sansom) Ellis; daughter, Bonita Ellis, Israel and grandson, Alex Nott, Moncton; step-children, Susan Linfield (Gerald), Tatamagouche, NS, Wendy Smith, Amherst, NS, Chris Snow (Paulette), Saint John, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sisters, Annie Connell, Toronto, ON, Erma Craig, Vancouver, BC; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Musetta (Speedy) Ellis; sisters, Ennis, Ferne, Inez; brothers, Garnet and MacLeod. Cremation. Memorial service to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) at a later date. Interment Kirkhill Cemetery, Sussex.
