MILLIS, EVELYN BEATRICE - The death of Evelyn Beatrice Millis, of East Saint John occurred unexpectedly on Wednesday January 18th, 2006 at her residence. Born 1932 in Grand Falls-Windsor, Nfld. she was the daughter of the late Victor and Beatrice (Dyke) Jackson. Besides her parents Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Stanley Millis; brother Thomas Jackson; and a sister Audrey Clark. She is survived by her sons Maxwell and Wayne both of Victoria, BC; daughter Cindy of Nfld. one grandchild Nean; brothers Gordon Jackson, Rev. Victor Jackson (Joyce), Charles Jackson (Fedalis), and Junior (Pat) all of Nfld. sisters Violet Jackson of Nfld. Pearl White of Halifax, NS, Queen Day of Toronto, Ont. Netha (Brendan) Hollihan, and a sister-in-law Noreen; Cousin, Lloyd (Laura) Edison and family and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from The First Revival Temple Pentecostal Church 303 Westmorland Rd. on Saturday January 21st, 2006 at 11am. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
