DAVIDSON, GORDON I. - The death of Gordon I. Davidson of Salt Springs, husband of Phyllis (Logan) Davidson occurred peacefully, January 21, 2006 at the Sussex Health Centre. He was born in Salt Springs, son of the late Arthur and Charlotte (Campbell) Davidson. Gordon was a lifelong resident of Salt Springs where he was engaged in farming and lumbering. He was a member of Salt Springs Baptist Church. Surviving besides his wife Phyllis are two daughters Judy Clark (Harold), Fredericton, Nancy Long (Wade), Sussex; one son Arthur Davidson (Mary-Lou), Salt Springs; one sister Dorothy Humphrey, Saint John; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters Marjorie Davidson, Winnie McEwen and Daisy Duplisea. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton on Monday from 10:30am - 11:00am. The funeral will be held Monday, 11:00 am at Reid's Funeral Home with Pastor Lawrence Earle officiating. A private interment will be in Salt Springs Cemetery.
