DEVINE, PATRICK JAMES - Mr. Patrick James Devine of Saint John, passed away at Ridgewood Veterans Wing on January 20, 2006 at the age of 83. Born in Wards Creek on April 3, 1922, he was the son of the late Patrick E. and Frances (Quirk) Devine. Pat is survived by two sisters; Dorothy Smith of Ontario and Anne Bradley and her husband Fred of Picton, Ontario as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters; Patricia Scriver and Mary Alward and by two brothers; Vincent and Frank. Pat was a retired carpenter and was a Gunner in the Royal Canadian Army during WWII and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch #6. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held from Ridgewood Veterans Hospital on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 1:00 pm.
