HAYWARD, KENNETH A. - The death of Kenneth A. Hayward, loving husband of Doreen (Dodie) (Jackson) Hayward, of St. John St. Stephen Nursing Home, formerly of Golden Grove Road, occurred on Friday January 27, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1919 in Saint John he was the son of the late Leslie and Glendelia (Bond) Hayward. Kenneth retired in 1983 after over 50 years of working for various companies in the city. He was a former member of the Orange Lodge and was an avid Gardner. Besides his loving wife Doreen he is survived by four sons Clifford (Alice), Kenneth (Debbie), Reginald (Rhonda) all of Saint John and Jean-Marc of Picton, Ontario; five daughters Glenda Roy (Cyril) of Tatla Lake, BC, Sandra Hansen (Arne), Theresa Hayward, Marie Hayward and Vickie Hayward all of Saint John; one brother Russell Hayward of London, Ontario; 24 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother Leslie, twin brother Clifford and grandson Adam. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Monday January 30, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 60 minutes prior to service. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
