HENDERSON, MARJORIE - The death of Marjorie Lockhart Henderson, a resident of Seely Lodge Special Care Home, occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital on Friday January 27, 2006. She was 95. Born in Hillsborough New Brunswick she was the daughter of the late Bliss and Dora Maude (Lockhart) Duffy. She is survived by one son Rev. Willis Henderson of Sydney, N.S., seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband James Gordon Henderson and her daughter Mildred Grant; stepdaughter June Anthony; sisters Mildred and Eva and brother Willis. Marjorie was a former member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and more recently of Lancaster Baptist Church. She was active in various church groups including the Women's Missionary Society of which she was a Dominion Life Member. She was also a volunteer and leader in several community organizations to which she enjoyed offering her musical talents as a pianist. The family would like to thank Jan Seely and staff of Seely lodge for being Marjorie's extended family for the last five years. Also special thanks to Doug and Ann Carter for their kindness and many visits. Visitation will be held on Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm at Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701). Funeral will be held Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kevin Hicks officiating.
