SACKVILLE, N.B. - Della M. (DeVarenne) Robertson, a resident of the Drew Nursing Home, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2007 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Della was in her 92nd year of life. Born in Middle Sackville, N.B. on September 27, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Leonie (Legere) DeVarenne. Della was a wonderful homemaker and stay-at-home mother who always enjoyed her family. She found great pleasure in gardening and loved flowers. Della will be sadly missed by her six children, William (Margaret) of Orangeville, Ontario, Patricia (Arnold) Comeau of Weymouth, N.S., Margaret Jean of Everett, Ontario, Robert (Sue) of Victoria, B.C., John (Laura) of Petawawa, Ontario, Brenda of Barrie, Ontario; one sister, Margaret Wilkin of Sackville, N.B.; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two nephews and one niece. She was predeceased by her husband Stewart Robertson; brother Frank DeVarenne; and two sisters, Laura DeVarenne and Helen in infancy. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August, 29, 2007, from 7-9 p.m. at Campbell's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held from Campbell's Funeral Home on Thursday, August 30, 2007, at 3 p.m. with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Della may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the charity of one's choice.
