WRY, CHARLES ERNEST - At Northern Carleton Hospital, Bath, Charles Ernest Wry passed away Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the age of 93. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Ernest and Gertrude(Lockhart) Wry. Charles and his wife Margaret(Matheson) moved to Bath in 1938. Becoming very involved in the community, Serving on the School Board, being the first president of the Bath Chamber of Commerce, Past Master of the Carleton Masonic Lodge, Past Worthy Grand Patron of the order of the Eastern Star, Past President of the Florenceville Rotary Club, a member of the Bath United Baptist Church for over 60 years and very involved with the operation of the Shicktehawk Bible Camp in the early years. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; four sons, Donald(Barbara) of Canoe, BC, Walter(Sally) of Upper Kent, Douglas(Frances) of Saskatoon, SK and David(Elaine)of Woodstock, NB; 2 daughters, Louise Wry of Toronto, ON and Sybil(Mark) Coleman of Beverly, Mass; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation was held at Kilcollins Funeral Home, Bath on Sunday, February 12, 2006 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 13, 2006 from the Bath United Baptist Church at 11:00am, Rev. Tobin Steeves will officiate. Interment will be held in Bristol Community Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of donor's choice.www.kilcollins.co
