(formerly Sister M. Reginald) Passed peacefully away at the Coronary Care Unit of the Health Sciences Complex, St. John's, on Saturday, July 19, 2008. Sister Marie Ryan aged 82 years. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Bridget; sisters Philomena and Genevieve; brothers: Father Kevin, James, Michael, Edmund, Francis, Father William. Left to mourn: the Presentation Sisters; her sister, Helen Clowe (Junior, deceased); sisters-in-law Hannah, Anita and Eleanor Ryan; many devoted nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, the extended community of The Lantern, other relatives and friends. The wake will be held at Presentation Motherhouse, Cathedral Square, St. John's. Visiting hours are on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 10 to 12; 2 to 4; and 7 to 9. Vigil service at 8 p.m. on Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Tuesday, July 22nd at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
