WARD (GLENNON), MAURA K. - Maura K. Ward (Glennon) peacefully at Ottawa General Hospital, Ottawa, Ontario on March 3, 2006. Maura was born in Saint John, NB, a daughter of Mary (Geneau) and William Glennon. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Brendan Ward, of Ottawa, her sister Ina McIlveen (Dave) of Saint John and nephews and nieces, Maura MacEachern (Keith), Sean McIlveen , Peter McIlveen (Lisa), Michael Ward (Lisa), Andrew Ward, Heather Ward, Erin Glennon, Glenn Walkinshaw, Bradley Walkinshaw (Mary) and Jill Dickie (Steve). She was predeceased by her brother John Glennon. Maura was a graduate of St. Vincent's High School and St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Saint John. Maura loved being a nurse and worked in Emergency at Riverside Hospital in Ottawa for 30 years. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Maura will be remembered by the many people whose lives she touched professionally and in her personal life. Visitation will be held on Monday March 6th, from 2-4 pm, at the Good Shepherd Church, 3092 Innes Road/Bypass in Ottawa. A Memorial Mass will be held at the church on Tuesday March 7th, at 10:30am with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or charity of your choice.
