FLOYD MELBOURNE SPENCER

SPENCER, FLOYD MELBOURNE - The passing of Floyd Melbourne Spencer, husband of Shirley (Doak) Spencer, of Nasonworth, NB, occurred on March 2, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Devon, NB, on April 10, 1934, he was a son of the late Emery and Daisy (Estey) Spencer. Floyd worked at the Federal Research Station with the Department of Agriculture for 36 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed gardening and fishing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Danny Spencer (Cheryl - Lynn Rogers) of Nasonworth, Wayne Spencer (Michelle) of Welsford; one daughter, Deborah Campbell (Donald) of Fredericton; proud grandfather of Dustin Brown, Brittnie Campbell, twins Aaden and Wyatt Spencer; one brother, Richard Spencer; four sisters, Mae Nash (Wally), Geneva Arbeau (Willis), Phyllis Dionne, Barbara Gee; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Ken Estey; sister, Shirley Johnston; brother-in-law, Norman Dionne; and one son-in-law, Dale Brown. There will be no visitation by Floyd's request. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Len Mills officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Lung Association or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
