HOOD, FRANCES K. - The death of Frances K. Hood of 19 Newman Street, Saint John, wife of the late Findley S. Hood, occurred on Friday, March 3, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, on April 29, 1912, she was the daughter of the late William Hazen and Gertrude Evelyn (Jackson) Needham. Mrs. Hood was formerly employed with Wasson's Drugs. She was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church and the Maud Taylor Branch ACW of St. Luke's Church. She is survived by two cousins, Florence Jackson and Marjorie Strong and many friends. She was predeceased by two sisters, Doris Armstrong and Dorothy Needham. By request of Frances there will be no visiting. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 11:00 AM.
