ALMA PAULIN
PAULIN, ALMA - Alma Paulin, 1914-2006, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 at the Rocmaura Nursing Home on March 9, 2006. Wife of the late Henry Paulin. Born in St. Isidore, a daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (McGraw) Landry. Alma will be sadly missed by her son, Danny (Judy), daughter, Fernande (Leo) Maillet both of Saint John, 10 grandchildren; Michael, Peter, Boyd, Ronald, Joey, Susan, Gary, Heather, Mark, Michael as well as 13 great grandchildren. Alma is also survived by two brothers, Alphonse of Paquetville and Antoine of St. Isidore, three sisters, Theresa of Saint John, Elizabeth (Laurent) Cormier of Saint John, Rita of Hacheyville and 32 nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. Besides her husband and parents Alma was predeceased by one son, John and daughter-in-law, Sheila, six brothers; Alfred, Edmond, Jeremie, Omer, Jean, Honore as well as two sisters, Yvonne and Albertine. Alma was a long time member of the St. Rose of Lima Church and the Third Order of Saint Francis. Visitation will be held from Castle Funeral Home, Fallsview Chapel, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634-1701) on Friday March 10, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will take place at St. Rose of Lima Church on Saturday March 11, 2006 at 10 o'clock followed by reception at the Fallsview Reception Centre. Memorial donations in memory of Alma may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Internment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
