ASHWORTH, DONALD CLAUDE - Donald Claude Ashworth, age 60, passed away peacefully at the Residence du Marais on Friday March 10, 2006. Born March 14, 1945, he was the son of Claude and Lillian (Corbin) Ashworth from Plaster Rock. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force until he was medically discharged. Following that, he worked as security at No. 5 Depot in Moncton, and also as security at Mount Allison University in Sackville. For the past five and one half years, he had been a resident at the Special Care Home, Residence du Marais, in Dieppe. He is survived by sister Leila (Peter) Lewis and brother David (Amber) Ashworth of Plaster Rock, also nieces Marnie Daigle, Shannon and Lindsay Ashworth, nephew Wyatt Ashworth, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visiting hours were held on Sunday from 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Monday March 13th at 2 PM from White's Chapel, Plaster Rock. Interment in Linton Corner Cemetery at a later date.
