WILLIAM F. HARVEY
HARVEY, WILLIAM F. - William F. Harvey of Bloomfield passed away, Monday, March 13, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, he was 80. Born in Broomfield, Kent County, England, he was the son of the late Edwin and Ethel (Thirkel) Harvey. He came to Canada with his family in 1931 and settled in Kinnear Settlement. He was a Korean War Veteran 1950-1952, a life member of the Havelock Legion Branch No. 86, past president and Zone Commander. He was a member of the Havelock Lions Club and a past King Lion. He retired from the Department of Natural Resources in November 1989 after 37 years of service. He loved spending time with his family and playing cards. He is survived by seven children, Florance Morrell (Wayne), Gloria Duncan (Michael) both of Oshawa, ON, David Harvey of Moncton, Darrel Harvey of Bloomfield, Betty Keith of Havelock, Angela Harvey of Bloomfield, Dianne Keith (Vance) of Apohaqui; eleven grandchildren, David, Tara, and Keith Morrell, Niki and Tim Harvey (Naomi), Bill and Shavonne Duncan, Tasha and Marty Keith, Hilary and Cole Keith; four great grandchildren, Ryley, Brittney, Gabe and Kayla; one brother, Kenneth Harvey (Florance) of Kingston, ON. He was predeceased by his first wife, Idella (Keith); his second wife, Pauline (Menzie); four brothers, Garfield, Samuel, Arthur, and Alec; two sisters, Mary and Janet; son-in-law, Martin Keith. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch, No. 86, Havelock, will be holding a memorial service at the funeral home, Thursday at 7pm. The funeral service will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home, on Friday, March, 17, 2006 at 11am, Rev. G. Cook officiating. The burial will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
