MORRISON, MARY KATHLEEN (VANWART) - 1914 ~ 2006. The death of Mary Kathleen Morrison occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on March 9th 2006. Born in Fredericton she was 92. She was the daughter of the late William A. and Kathleen (Hatt) VanWart. Predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Frank I. Morrison, her brother Bill and son-in-law Donald Morgan. Mary is survived by her children, Ann Morgan of Fredericton, Frank Morrison (Deanna) of Hanwell, Mary Lu Grant (Lawrence) of Hanwell, and Bill Morrison (Judith) of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Connie Morrison (Neal Bennett), Jim Morrison (Patti), Janet Morrison (Mike Currie), Sarah Lee (Ian), Patricia Webster (Iain), Pamela Lowthers (Barrie), James Morgan (Rachelle Charrois), Ann LeBlanc (Joel), Heather Grant, Nicholas Morrison, Peter Morrison, Erica Morrison and her great grandchildren, Lauren Dwyer, Claire and Sophie Bennett, Connor, Brett and Ailsa Morrison, Kelsey and Mackenzie Currie, Mary and Iris Webster, Olivia, Faith and Emma Lowthers, Maeve Lee, Jacob and Henry LeBlanc. She is also survived by her brother, Jack VanWart (Anna); sisters-in-law, Marion Hanson, Patricia Morrison and brother-in-law Jack Morrison (Jean). Mary was a devoted wife and mother known by all for her humour and generous hospitality. In the past she was an active member of the IODE, St. Paul's United Church Women and the class of '36 at UNB. Visitation will be at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton on Tuesday, March 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will held at St. Paul's United Church Fredericton on Wednesday, March 15th at 11:00 am. Rev Paul Ross will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery later in the springtime.
