SHAW, IVA P. - The death of Iva Pearl Shaw of Hampton, widow of Avard Shaw occurred March 14, 2006 at Dr. V.A. Snow Centre. She was born in O'Leary, PEI, daughter of the late John and Lilla (Harris) Yeo. Iva was a member of Central Norton United Baptist Church. She is survived by five daughters Lilla Cousins (Emerson), Hampton, Melita Campbell (Fred), Southfield, Rosamond Eaves (Leonard), Hampton, Valerie Carson, Saint John, Deborah Erwin (Donald), Hampton; four sons Eric (Lois), Norton, Charles (Marie), Passekeag, Grant, Sussex, Dean (Mary), Hampton; four sisters Olive Berry, New Jersey, Laura Ramsay, O'Leary, PEI, Lillas Reid (Peter), Norton, Beryl Shelfoon (George), Red Deer, AB; one brother Alvin Yeo (Fairley), O'Leary, PEI; 37 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, one aunt May Harris (Melvin), O'Leary, PEI; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons Avard and Wayne, one grandson Allan Cousins and one sister Isabelle Dennis. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation 2-4pm and 7-9pm Thursday. The funeral will be held Friday, 2:00pm, at Central Norton United Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Leary officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
