SOMERVILLE, KENNETH GEORGE - It's with great sadness, but with joy of a life well lived, that the family announces the passing of Ken, on Monday, March 20, 2006, in his 80th year. With his admirable strength and endurance, he ended his battle at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with his family at his side. He was the loving husband, and best friend of 51 years, to Shirley (Long) Somerville. He was the son of the late Harry and Kathleen (Short) Somerville. Ken is survived by his wife; son, John and Carol Somerville; daughters, Cheryl Jones, and Eva and Ron Cunningham, all of Springfield; grandchildren, Denny, Natalie, Jodi and Chris, Danielle, Kendra, Morgen and Alexa; great grandchildren, Cassidy, Carter and Jaimen; sister, Jennie Doucett, Hamilton, ON; sisters-in-law Verna Somerville, Florida and Joyce Somerville, Moncton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Lawson and Frederick; son-in-law, Paul Jones; and brother-in-law Charles Doucett.
