RIOUX, IVAN - Of Plaster Rock passed away at St. Joseph Hotel Dieu Hospital on March 27th, 2006. Born in Grand Falls on February 12, 1916, he was the son of the late Edmond and Therese Rioux. He is survived by his wife Nancy Rioux (King); his daughters Yvonne Harding (Winslow) of Plaster Rock, Shirley Everett (James) of Sisson Ridge; sons Ivan Jr. of Powell River, BC., Michael (Debbie) of Plaster Rock; sisters Isabelle Dion of Biddeford, Me., Lorraine Edgecombe of North Carolina; brothers Rene Rioux of Ontario, Lucide Rioux of Frederiction; and eight grandchildren. Ivan was a veteran of WWII and a member of a the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #29. By Ivan's request, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held on Thursday March 30, 2006 at 2pm from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Father Pierre Thibodeau officiating. Interment will be in parish cemetery.
