LONG, DONNA L. - Donna Lois (Hastings) Long, wife of the late Jackie Leroy Long, passed away on March 28, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Charles William and Mildred Blanche (Leonard) Hastings. Donna was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Women's Auxiliary Branch # 53, she had lived most of her life on the Old Black River Road, she loved her family and will be sadly missed. She is survived by two sons: Jackie Charles Long and Randy Phillip Long (Ann Marie), two brothers: Charles (Marilyn) and Paul (Marg) Hastings, three grandsons: Craig, Cory and Curtis all of Saint John; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Thursday and Friday, March 30 & 31, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2006 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
