LYON, SYBIL E. - The death of Sybil E. Lyons, wife of the late Murray Thomas Lyons, occurred on March 31, 2006 at the Church Home of St. John & St. Stephen. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Anne (Richards) Gibbon. She was a long time member of Central Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons David Murray Lyon of Saint John, Paul Eric Lyon of Halifax, her grandchildren Joshua, Andrea, Christopher and Emily, and several nieces and nephews. Her brother Cyril and sisters Edna, Sylvia and Vera predeceased her. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 7-9 pm. The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at 2:15 pm, from Brenans Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
