JACKSON, EVELYN GERTRUDE (1928 - 2006) - The passing of Evelyn Gertrude (Culbert) Jackson wife of the late David E. Jackson of Upper Woodstock, NB, occurred on Saturday April 8, 2006 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital at the age of 77. Born in Waterbury, Connecticut she was the daughter of the late Edward and Geneva (Craig) Culbert. Evelyn is survived by two daughters: Grace Cunliffe (Ted), Ottawa, ON, Nancy DeLong, Upper Woodstock, NB, Grandsons Darren Cunliffe (Mary), Clifford ON, Don DeLong, Ottawa, ON, granddaughter Tracey DeLong, Ottawa, ON, sister Mary Gagnon, Halifax, NS, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, and her husband, Evelyn is predeceased by an infant son Miles Daniel, brothers: Eugene, Charles, and Harold Culbert. The family will receive visitors at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Monday April 10, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday April 11, 2006 at 2 PM with Venerable Walter Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Upper Woodstock Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Upper Woodstock Cemetery or to a memorial of the Donor's choice.
