GEORGE FREEMAN INGERSOLL

INGERSOLL, GEORGE FREEMAN - 69, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital Friday morning April 14th, 2006. Born on Grand Manan he was the son of the late Ralph and Josephine Ingersoll, George spent most of his working life on the water, he built and operated the Fundy House Take-Out Restaurant for several years, after which he worked as Captain of the Fisheries Patrol Boat Cumella until his retirement. He enjoyed the fellowship of hunting, fishing, his ATV; he also worked tirelessly for the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children fund raising. George was a devoted Mason, he was the Past Master of the Mananook Lodge #38 F& AM Grand Manan District Deputy Grand Master, District # 5, St. Croix Council # 11, St. Stephen Preceptory # 15, Knights Templar, St. Stephen Chapter #6, Royal Arch Masons, a Shriner, a member of Luxor Temple, Saint John. He is survived by his wife Janet (Huntley), one daughter Bethany (Bev) Ingalls, Grand Harbour, NB, two sons Cameron (Faith), and Mason (Teena) both of Grand Harbour, NB. Five Grandchildren Jessica, Timothy, and Kirstin Morse, Kyle and Samuel Ingersoll four step daughters Julie Greene, Joan (John) Small, Jelaine, (Michael) Anstey, Joellen, (Charles) Jensen, one step son James (Debra) Dexter, three sisters Maxine Wilson, Margot (Bud) Brown, Myra (Manfred) Wegner, two brothers, Richard Ingersoll, and Sonny (Pat) Ingersoll, as well as many nieces and nephews.
