ALICE BLANCHE (TRYNOR) (DOYLE) JUSTASON
JUSTASON, ALICE BLANCHE (TRYNOR) (DOYLE) - The death of Alice Blanche Justason occurred at her residence in Blacks Harbour, NB on April 13, 2006. She was born in St. George on November 22, 1911, a daughter of the late Harry and Sarah (McHugh) Trynor. She was educated in St. George and spent many years there working in local shops. In later years she worked at the Fundy Hospital in Blacks Harbour. For several years she had resided with her dear friend and care-giver, Doris Stewart. Allie was a member of the St. George Curling Club and was a founding member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #40 in St. George and was a member of the St. George Catholic Women's League. Allie was an ardent reader who enjoyed her many friends. She is survived by her sister, Edna Leavitt; her brother, Lloyd (Chris); her special niece, Bette Leavitt; her special friend, Doris Stewart; her step-daughters, Rita and Shirley and many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Hazen and Edwin and her sister, Joan Adams. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her step-mother, Violet Leslie Trynor; and was the widow of Ralph Doyle and Dyrlin Justason. She will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched. There will be visiting at the funeral home on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Ladies Auxilliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #40, St. George, will be having a tribute service on Saturday evening at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. George's Roman Catholic Church on Monday at 12 noon. Interment in St. George's Catholic Cemetery following cremation. In Allie's honor, donations to the Building Fund of St. George's Catholic Church, or a charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family.
