RICHARDS, JAMES STEPHEN - The death of James Stephen Richards of Saint John, NB, husband of Julia (Tokack) Richards, occurred on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John a son of the late James and Rose (Richardson) Richards, James had been employed at the Saint John General Hospital as an engineer. During World War II, he had served with the Merchant Navy. Survived by his wife, Julia; special nieces, Jo-Ann Park of Saint John and AnneMarie Godwin of Mechanic Lake, NB; one brother, Ron (Laura) Richards of Saint John; six sisters, Violet Ebbett, Ella Park, Connie Campbell, and Mary Richards, all of Saint John, Major Zeversa Richards of Toronto, ON and June (Andy) Moore of Washington, DC; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and a great niece, Christine Park. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425. At the request of the family there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 11 am at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
