KELLY, OLIVE M - The death of Olive M. Kelly of Welsford, wife of the late Percy G. Kelly, occurred peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday May 4, 2006 after a brief illness. Born in Westfield, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Laura (Hurbert) Blagdon. She attended the Welsford United Church and enjoyed playing canasta and entertaining family and friends with a cup of tea, or a home cooked meal. She is survived by a son, Doug Kelly (Beth Palmer) of Saint John and two daughters, Shirley Duplessis (Willard) of Saint John, Katherine of Edmonton, AB; a stepdaughter, Irene Martin of Fredericton; six grandchildren, Michelle, Danielle, Denise, Alison, Trevor, Sean; and two great grandchildren, Brandon and Taylor. She also leaves behind a sister, Thelma Innis and a brother, Gordon Blagdon and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Olive was predeceased by her two brothers, John and Ronald as well as a sister, Vivian and step grandson, Tony. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed. Resting at Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634-1701) with visitation on Saturday May 6, 2006 from 7-9 pm and Sunday May 7, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial service will be held from Fallsview Chapel on Tuesday May 9, 2006 at 10 o'clock followed by interment in Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Olive may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
