JOHNSTON, SARAH K.- The death of Sarah K. Johnston of the Loch Lomond Villa, Saint John, wife of the late John Owen Johnston, occurred on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at her residence. Born in Chatham, New Brunswick on August 19, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Kazia (Edmunds) King. She is survived by three sons, Eric Johnston of Bayswater, NB, Roderick Johnston (Joan) of Oromocto, NB and Owen Johnston (Nancy) of Saint John, one daughter, Lois Allen (Ben) of Calgary, AB, one brother, Jack King (Dorothy) of Miramichi, NB, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Fred, Alex, Leslie and Norman King and three sisters, Rita King, Frances Johnston and Lillian Fitzgerald. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
