MacKINNON, WILLIAM ANGUS - The death of William Angus MacKinnon of Champlain Heights, loving husband of Frances Josephine (Campbell) occurred on Tuesday May 16, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1911 in Rollo Bay West, Prince Edward Island, he was the son of the late James A. and Mary Eliza (Wilson) MacKinnon. William was a Teacher in Prince Edward Island prior to arriving in Saint John where he worked for MRA's Ltd in the Carpet Department for many years and retired from Guilford's Ltd Saint John. He was a member of Knights of Columbus # 8364 and had been a server in his parish for many years. He is survived by sons Walter (Sharon) of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Gerard (Susan) of Bedford, NS and Norbert (Lucille) of Quispamsis; seven grandchildren, Roger, Kenny, Lisa, Elizabeth, Susannah, Grant and Julie and several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Hugh J. and James C. MacKinnon. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim's Church on Friday May 19th, 2006 at 11am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
