GIROUARD, ALICE L. - of 155 Market Place, Saint John passed away at the SJRH on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at age 55 after a long illness. Alice was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Girouard (Burke) and wife of James Anthony Girouard. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons; Michael Girouard (Shelley), John Girouard (Tara) and Joseph Girouard, one daughter; Laura Urgel (Richard), six grandchildren; Gabriella, Vanessa, Chloe and Isabella Urgel, Ryan and Hayley Girouard, and one brother; John Burke (Tarja). Alice worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the SJRH for 5 years. Following Cremation, visitation will be held at A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) on Tuesday evening from 5pm - 7pm followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00pm in Cavanagh's Chapel.
