MacDONALD, RONALD JAMES - Ronald James MacDonald passed away after a brief illness, May 19, 2006, surrounded by his loving family, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Ronald was born on December 7, 1925, on the family farm, on the O'Neill Road in Searsville. He was the son of the late David and Verna (MacAuley) MacDonald. Ronald is survived by his best friend and dear wife, Enid (Scott) MacDonald, two sons; Malcolm and Elaine, and Gerald and Margaret, daughter; Elaine and Danny Folkins, all of Searsville, four grandsons; David, Michael, and Christopher Folkins, and Scott MacDonald, three granddaughters; Andrea MacDonald, Jena Lackie, and Amy Sears, three brothers; Roy and Bea, Kenneth and Gertrude, George and Leona, three sisters; Ruby and David Morrison, Verna Patterson, and Alice Chambers, brother-in-law; Melrose and Carol Scott, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by one sister; Flora Armstrong, and three brothers-in-law; Roy Armstrong, Lloyd Patterson, and Harry Chambers. He is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, with visiting on Saturday, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Lower Millstream United Church, at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2006, followed by interment in Union Cemetery, Belleisle Creek, NB.
