GIROUARD, ALICE L. - Of 155 Market Place, Saint John passed away at the SJRH on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at age 55 after a long illness. Alice was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Burke and wife of James Anthony Girouard. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons; Michael Girourad (Shelley), John Girouard (Tara) and Joseph Girouard , one daughter; Laura Urgel (Richard), six grandchildren; Gabriella, Vanessa, Chloe and Isabella Urgel, Ryan and Hayley Girouard, and one brother; John Burke (Tarja). Alice worked as an LPN for 5 years. Following Cremation, visitation will be held at A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) on Tuesday evening from 5pm - 7pm followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00pm in Cavanagh's Chapel.
