JAMES CROWE

CROWE, JAMES - The death of James Crowe, loving husband of Sarah (Free) Crowe occurred on Wednesday May 24, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born October 28, 1923 in Torbay, NL he was the son of the late Michael and Katherine (Roache) Crowe. James was a veteran of WWII serving overseas in England, Germany, France and Belgium, with the Army. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Jervis Bay Branch # 53. Besides his loving wife Sarah he is survived by his children James Jr. Crowe (Betty), Susan McLeod, Eileen Walton (Dale Russell), Peter Crowe (Debbie), Kathy Feethan (Wayne), John (Lisa Maxwell) all of Saint John and Terry Crowe of Red Deer, AL; two sisters Agnes Hachey of Saint John and Margaret Tuck of Barrie, Ontario; 17 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Thomas and Matthew Crowe and grandson Steven Crowe. Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) on Thursday 7-9 p.m., and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday May 27, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations made to the Palliative Care Unit SJRH, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
