THORNE, GEORGE - George Thorne of Sussex, passed away at his residence the Kiwanis Nursing Home on June 1, 2006 at the age of 79. Born in Cody's, Queens Co., NB on July 29, 1926, he was the son of the late C. Bliss and Adelia (Goggin) Thorne. George is survived by his brother, Otis (Anna) of Cody's, NB, his special nephew, Chris (Megan) of Sussex and their son, Tyler, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. George was predeceased by his sister, Alice Thorne. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Saturday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at Coles Island Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
