WILLIAM F. (BILL) WALLACE

WALLACE, WILLIAM F. (BILL) - of Westfield Rd. Saint John NB. Passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday evening June 19th, 2006. William was born in Chipman NB, on August 13th, 1938 to the late John and Irene (Bustard) Wallace. William is survived by his loving wife Ann (Little), two sons, James (Becky) and Desmond both of Saint John, a brother Douglas of Grand-Bay-Westfield, brothers in-law and sisters in-law, Claudia Simmonds, Juanita (Frank) White and Joseph Little, four grandchildren Graham, Colby, Jacob and Alyson, aunts, and uncle Eva Cambridge, and Katherine (Ronald) Bustard, of Ontario and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, William was predeceased by brothers John and Stephen and a sister Margaret Garnette. William was employed by Saint John Shipbuilding as a Welder and a member of Local 3 for 37 years. He was a member of the Christian Service Brigade, Friendly Senior Circle, Queenstown Orange Lodge #112, and was a member of the Grand-Bay Baptist Church, where he served on the Board of Trustees and as Deacon. William was an avid collector of trains and spent countless hours' woodworking. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday June 23rd, 2006 at 10:30am from the Grand-Bay Baptist Church. The interment will be held following the service at Woodman's Point Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
