EVA WINNIFRED (PARKS) GANONG

GANONG, EVA WINNIFRED (PARKS) - Mrs. Fred Ganong passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 27, 2006 at the age seventy three. Mrs. Ganong was the daughter of the late Lee and Myrtle (Brown) Parks. Eva is leaving to mourn her husband Fred Ganong and two sons, William of Cambridge Narrows and Norman of Saint John; two grand-daughters Jessica and Lane Ganong; one sister, Nellie Smith of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Eva was pre-deceased by three brothers, Edward, Douglas and George of Saint John, and one grandson Adam Ganong. Eva was born on the west side and attended New Albert School. She graduated from Saint John High School then followed with a post graduate course in Stenography at the former Saint John Vocational School. Eva was a member of the Carlton Kirk United Church. Eva was employed by the Ford Motor Company for several years and later by the Saint John Airport. Eva loved music of all kinds and was a devoted member of the Loyalist City Cloggers and the Boot Scooters dancers. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday June 30, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
