Marjorie Kay
SACKVILLE, N.B. - The death of Marjorie Kay, age 93, of Sackville, occurred at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, following a lengthy illness. Born in Chorlton, Manchester, England, she was a daughter of the late John and Ellen (Smith) Hargreaves. She was formerly employed at Mount Allison University. A homebody, she enjoyed cake decorating, sewing and maintained beautiful gardens. Marjorie will be sadly missed by a son, Bliss (Brenda Fillmore) Kay, Sackville; a sister, Mavis Wheaton, Sackville; two granddaughters, Holly (Tony) Kay and Heather (Peter) Maltby; one grandson, Blake (Bev) Kay; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman; a sister Marianne; and brothers, Jeffrey, Johnnie, Donald, Joe and Jim. The remains were entrusted into the care of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) from where visitation was held on Thursday, July 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral home on Friday, July 6, 2007, at 2 p.m. Burial in the Four Corners Cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
