DEBLY, JOHN T. - The funeral of John T. Debly, husband of Zahie (Choefatti) Debly, was held from Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where Mass of Christian Burial was con-celebrated by Msgr. Brian Henneberry and Rev. William Phillips. The pallbearers were Kemal Debly, Phiilip Comeau, Robert Hammond, Samir Yammine, Frank Cyr, and John MacDougall. Among the numerous floral tributes received were those from Management and Staff at Eastern Optical; Dr. Shannon and Staff; Your Blue Mountain Family; Dr. and Mrs. Donald Fitzpatrick and Staff of Dr. Fitzpatrick's Office; Wayne James and Staff; Technical Unit Design Services Electrical I & C; and Doctors and Staff of Family Vision Clinic. Among the numerous spiritual tributes received was one from the Catholic Bookstore. A donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association was received from Campbell's Plumbing and Heating and Drain Mann and Lloyd. Donations to Romero House-Soup Kitchen were received from Management and Staff of Raymond's Meats; and the Board of Directors, Staff, and Volunteers of Romero House. Donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation were received from Staff of Dr. Debly's Office; Management and Staff of Gulf Operators; and Pettingill Dental. A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society was received from N.B. Power Nuclear Management and Staff. Donations were also received to the Cathedral Fund; and the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation. Interment took place in St. Joseph's Cemetery with prayers at the grave by Msgr.
