NETTLETON, JOHN GORDON - The death of John Gordon Nettleton, 69, loving husband of Gayle (Stothers) Nettleton, occurred on Friday, July 14, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in 1936 in Brantford, Ontario, he was the son of the late John and Margery (Porter) Nettleton. John worked as a Drafting Designer Engineer for the Saint John Oil Refinery for 20 years. Besides his devoted wife, Gayle, he is survived by his loving daughters, Heather Reddin (Billy) of Barrie, ON, Penny McEachran (Scott) of Sarnia, ON, Susan Hunt (Bob) of Sarnia, ON and Jackie Campbell (Mike) of Mexico; four grandchildren, Cindy, Elizabeth, Miranda and Matthew; brother, Gerald Nettleton (Donna) of Sarnia, ON; sister, Gail Brooks (Don) of Sarnia, ON; and several nieces and nephews. By request there will be no visitations or Funeral Service. A private family interment will take place in Sarnia, Ontario at a later date. The family would appreciate donations made to the Palliative Care Unit or Oncology Unit SJRH or to the charity of the donor's choice.
