ERNEST ST. ONGE
ST. ONGE, ERNEST - The death of Ernest St. Onge occurred on July 11, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 85 years and 3 months. He was previously deceased by first wife Lorraine Michaud in May 1988 and recently deceased by his second wife Fernande Emond in April 2006. He is survived by three daughters Jacqueline Morrison and Larry, Elaine Woodcock and Fred, Cecile St. Onge and friend Kevin Craig. Four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by five step children Claudette Levesque, Maurice, Rosaire, Normande and Claude Emond. Ernest was born in Edmundston N.B. and had spent the last five years there, but had spent the majority of his life in Saint John. He loved fishing, hunting, bowling, horse shoes, camping and playing cards. He was a Veteran in the army, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6770 and had retired from the CPR Canadian Pacific Railroad after 32 years of service. He was always willing to help others in any way and was well loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by family and many friends. There will be a Memorial Service held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Milford Road Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 10 am. Reception to follow.
